One Last Look!

Carol Overdahl Benefit Exhibit

Since Sept. 10, Marco Two Union Square has been the proud venue to exhibit the works of Carol Overdahl, whose MAGIC series of paintings has graced our salon. We kicked off an opening reception on Sept. 10 and will continue to show Carol’s gorgeous works through November.

A portion of all sales will go to the Marsha Rivkin Center for Ovarian Cancer Research while on display with us. Check them out Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. while they’re here!

Marsha Rivkin, the organization’s namesake, passed away in 1993 from ovarian cancer, and her family was determined to turn their grief into something positive. While Dr. Saul Rivkin, an oncologist at Swedish Medical Center, laid the groundwork for the Marsha Rivkin Center for Ovarian Cancer Research, his five daughters went to work organizing the Swedish “SummeRun”. The Center’s mission is to save lives and reduce suffering through improved treatment, early detection, and prevention of ovarian cancer.
