To easily transition to a new hair color, whether subtle or dramatic, consider just the right makeup color palette to compliment it. Where pale or nude hues have may have been in your everyday makeup arsenal when you had blonde hair, for example, darker shades can often tolerate bolder or deeper makeup tones that will balance out your complexion with hair. The same can be said of the inverse; darker shades that have lightened up considerably can explore entirely softer tones for the face. Eyebrows are another area that should transition with a new hair color—you can master just the right shading to frame in a perfect new look.  Stop by the makeup area before leaving after your new color for a consultation—or better yet, schedule an appointment for makeup following your hair color for a complete about face.
