Katherine – (Designer) Katherine has more than 20 years of experience in the industry, but she originally pursued theater as her course of study in college. She draws inspiration from eclectic sources, including fashion-forward New York City and her own 14-year-old daughter. She aims to make each of her clients feel and see their own beauty. An accomplished hairdresser, Katherine has been featured on several TV spots and in magazines discussing her craft. |

Katie – (Senior Designer) As a Senior Designer at Marco’s, Katie draws inspiration primarily from what she sees on the street each day. Motivated to pursue her field by a desire to make people feel good and instill self esteem, she takes pride in being able to anticipate a client’s needs. She sees her key responsibility as making sure her clients are always happy and satisfied. Katie’s passion for people affects other areas of her life; she serves as a Big Sister and volunteers to help those afflicted with AIDS. |

Brittany - (nail technician, esthetician) Brittany has been at Marco’s for 12 years and is constantly inspired by her clients’ style and personality. Brittany’s areas of expertise are waxing, manicures, pedicures, and a variety of facial treatments. Brittany’s volunteer efforts are geared toward the motorcycle industry. Her girls’ group (Chic Riders) has donated to NW Harvest and this year is supporting Mary’s Place in Seattle. Besides riding motorcycles, Brittany’s hobbies include swimming, snowboarding, walking, gardening, traveling, and anything that gets her adrenaline going! |

Donnie - (hair extensions) Before working the beauty industry, Donnie worked as a dental assistant and in the road construction business. As he continued to learn about the industry, Donnie was inspired by the movie, Shampoo because it made hairdressing more exciting for him. His biggest risk in life was quitting college in order to pursue his passion for hair. Donnie’s biggest accomplishments include becoming a hairdresser, being Cosmopolitan’s Most Eligible Bachelor (2000), and having his daughter. Donnie loves spending time with his family and three dogs, snowboarding, going out on his boat, and hitting the gym everyday. |

Domonique - (hair color specialist) Before she was a hair color specialist, Domo was a gymnastics coach and also taught swim lessons. Domo was motivated to become a hair specialist because she grew up with her grandmother having a salon in her house. She believes that her most important responsibility is to make sure the client is satisfied and she creates the ideal hair color for each client to match his or her lifestyle. On her days off, Domo loves to spend time with her three-year-old son. |

Dyane - (hair color specialist) Prior to working at Marco’s, Dyane was a singer for a band and she has done make up for hair and fashion shows. She is inspired by fashion magazines and traveling. Dyane is proud of the fact that in beauty school she was selected to do a fashion show and asked to help out at several hair shows. Dyane is passionate about volunteering her time and one of her biggest accomplishments was doing a fashion show for the Tsunami in 2004 (she helped raise $35,000)! Dyane loves trying out new restaurants, shopping, and spending time with friends. |
